Christmas has always played a vital role in what brings joy into my life. From the decorations to the smells, tastes, sounds and lights, the Holiday season brings me an immense amount of happiness. When I was a little girl, I remember spending weekends with my grandmother, helping her set up an entire room with her Collectable Christmas village, decorating her tree in crystal bells, velvet swans and delicate iridescent bulbs reflecting her personal style. People came and stayed just to enjoy the feeling in her home while Grandpa sat at the piano and played beautiful hymns while the smell of homemade wassail filled the air.

 

I believe Christmas time to be an EXPERIENCE filled with passion, peace and a deep appreciation for all we have. My grandmother passed away on April 12th, 2023 and while she's no longer here with me, I will always appreciate and value the love of Christmas she instilled into my heart forever.
