Sandra and Andrew had their wedding all planned... and then Covid-19 resulted in travel bans and safety issues. They found themselves having to cancel their wedding. We kept in touch over the many months following their devastation and were finally able to begin planning again- but this time, with a smaller group, more ideal venue, and an even greater appreciation for their relationship.
The day began with getting ready, of course! We hired Briana with Haven Salon for hair and makeup. If you have never met Briana, you're truly missing out! She is a GEM!
While Sandra was getting ready, Andrew was also getting ready for their first look in Snow Canyon State Park.
Detail shots area favorite of mine. It's so easy to forget the small elements to your wardrobe and overall aesthetic of your day, so capturing them is something I always plan for.
I designed a Welcome letter, Order of events printable and menu to compliment the overall design of their wedding.
Sandra & Andrew's first look couldn't have been more beautiful. I hiked into Snow Canyon with them and the Photographers (Ashley & Justin are amazing!), helped Sandra get dressed, and ensured everything went according to plan.
This is typical when I'm in the background working to receive photos back of me not realizing photographers are taking pictures of me in the background. For this middle picture, these two love birds insisted I jump into this middle one so they had a picture with me. I absolutely love them!
Their first look was beautiful!
I love seeing reactions during a first look! Especially when you get super realistic shots like these ones! Always hike in with supportive shoes like Sandra did. She only did minimal walking in her beautiful heels. Another point learned here- it's dirty outside! You'll need to dust off that booty if you sit down!

We headed back to Entrada, where Sandra & Andrew's guests were enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Places don't get any prettier than this!
Cocktails and appetizers were a huge hit and set a happy tone for their intimate ceremony.
We connected Sandra's laptop and zoomed the couples family and friends for those who couldn't not make it.
Their ceremony was personal, unique, and touching.
