Destany and Jay's Wedding Week started with a Sunrise shoot up to the Zion Canyon Overlook. This early morning was well worth every shot we got. After the shoot, Destany, Jay, myself and Emily (the photographer) were tired but got in a breakfast together at Oscars before going our separate ways and getting a nap in (or at least we pretended we were going to!)
The wedding day began with getting ready with their favorite people, shooting the details and embracing that stunning smile on Destany's face.
Since we did the first look and a Sunrise shoot already, the couple got ready together and left with me and the photographer to the shuttle stop. The four of us had way too much fun together. I could relive this couple's journey 10x over.
We snuck in a first look with dad in the parking lot before heading to the shuttle pick up
Loading up and we were on our way to Temple of Sinawava
Their ceremony at Temple of Sinawava was short but so sweet.
Couples and family photos were captured at Temple of Sinawava before traveling back to Switchback Grille for their reception.
Upon arrival at Switchback, the atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting as the dinner and reception spaces were meticulously prepared by our team for the big reveal. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the setup. Each place setting was carefully arranged with a hemp fringed place mat, adding a touch of rustic charm to the terracotta plates and gold flatware that awaited the guests. The ivory napkins, elegantly folded and secured with natural wood napkin rings, provided a warm and inviting feel to the table.
To enhance the overall aesthetic, delicate florals were artfully placed inside the napkin rings, creating a seamless blend of nature and sophistication. The amber-colored glassware caught the light, casting a soft glow over the table and adding a touch of opulence to the setting. The seafoam green menus provided a pop of color against the earthy tones, adding a refreshing contrast to the table decor.
As the guests took their seats, they were greeted by the sight of bronze vintage taper candle holders, each holding a pristine white candle that illuminated the space with a soft, flickering light. The tables were adorned with an array of stunning bud vases, each showcasing a unique arrangement of flowers that added a whimsical and romantic touch to the ambiance. The combination of elements – from the rich colors to the intricate details – came together harmoniously to create a truly magical setting for the evening's festivities.
Destany and Jay's wedding day was a truly magical affair, filled with love and cherished moments that they will remember for a lifetime. As the evening drew to a close, they gathered with their closest friends and family members to share intimate toasts, reflecting on the journey that had led them to this beautiful day. Each guest who had traveled to be with them was met with gratitude and warmth, as Destany and Jay made sure to connect with each one, creating lasting memories and strengthening bonds. The conversations flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter, joy, and heartfelt sentiments. It was a night of celebration, not just of their union, but of the love and support that surrounded them. Destany and Jay's wedding day was a true testament to the power of love and the beauty of sharing such a special moment with those who mean the most.
