Iris and James waited a LONG time to make this wedding a reality, after postponing a wedding due to Covid-19. Postponing weddings has become the new fad, sadly, so we were THRILLED to FINALLY be able to celebrate this new union!
They certainly look happy, right?!
The day began with getting ready, as as usual, RELAXING before all the festivities began.
As James & Iris celebrated with their favorite drinks with their favorite people, My staff and I were in the background setting up their ceremony, dinner, and reception areas. A toast and then a GAME!
The couple made the decision well in advance to have large tents brought in for their dinner hour to provide much needed shade in the Zion heat and it certainly didn't go unappreciated by their loved ones!
A large Hex tent provided ULTIMATE shade for all 80 of their guests during dinner and we paired it with a 20x20 tent over a stunning dance floor, lights, and chandelier.
Their intimate ceremony site took place on the beach side of the property, showcasing Zion views in the backdrop with their arch. Beautiful arch floral decorated a timeless styled beam arch, while complimentary chair end floral added to the simplicity and natural beauty surrounding them.
With the ceremony site all prepared and set up, we went to work on the tablescapes for their intimate dinner. Magleby's brought in beautiful china and gold flatware as well as glassware for each place setting, while Jocelyn's floral brought in stunning floral runners for each farm table.
Custom table numbers were a must have for James and Iris and reflected the street names they had lived on. Personal touches like this are what really transition a Pinterest wedding into a personalized event.
James & Iris' bar menu was just as unique as they are! I love seeing couples work with a bar tender like Arlianne to create a menu that speaks to their personalities and relationship. And, how cute are those stir sticks featuring their cute pup, Archer?
Archer is very loved! As he should be! He wasn't just a cardboard cut out though! Archer served a BIG ROLE in the Ceremony as well!
Some of my favorite details...

All things Archer
I mean, can you blame me?! He's soooo cute!
If James & Iris couldn't get any cooler, they JUST did! Hiring live music is such a fun way to bring a different and engaging style of music to your day. Dave Tate with Zion Wedding Music is incredible at what he does! Dave played for the ceremony and cocktail hour portion of the wedding day.
For the Reception hour, James & Iris opted to have the Property DJ come in and run music while they danced the night away!
James & Iris opted to keep it clean for the cake cutting. Good choice James! haha!
The evening was a dream come true and I was honored to be part of it!
